Add a photo

JPEG, PNG or WebP up to 10 MiB. Support is confirmed from the file's bytes.

Choose, drop or paste one image to inspect it locally.

Photo evidence

File evidence, supported metadata and neutral privacy context will appear here.

The exact file type, SHA-256 hash, supported camera details and recorded location will stay in this browser.

How to use it

  1. 1

    Add one photo

Choose, drop or paste a JPEG, PNG or WebP image up to 10 MiB. The page confirms support from the file bytes, not its name.

  2. 2

    Review recorded evidence

Read the detected file details, exact SHA-256 hash, supported camera fields and recorded coordinates where present. The image is processed in this browser and is not uploaded.

  3. 3

    Continue deliberately

Copy a value locally or explicitly hand the adjacent coordinate or SHA-256 hash to Coeus for investigation.

What the results mean

Metadata is reported evidence, not proof.

Timestamps, coordinates, camera details and software can be changed, removed or absent. They do not establish who took a photo, where it was taken or whether it is authentic.

Reader coverage is intentionally narrow.

The tool reads selected EXIF fields from JPEG, PNG and WebP files. It does not inspect maker notes, device serials, thumbnails, comments, XMP, IPTC or ICC profiles.

Inspection does not remove metadata.

This page does not clean, rewrite or download your image. A trustworthy metadata remover needs separate format-specific verification.
